AI Software Engineer for R&D CPQ Platform

Triple Innovations is looking for a Research & Development Engineer with strong enthusiasm, interest and know-how in AI and rule-based enterprise systems to join our team working on the AI CPQ platform funded under the IRI S3 programme.
AI CPQ combines generative AI, formal logic (SMT), natural language rule configuration and ESG automation into one platform for complex B2B industries.

Your role

  • Tech lead for AI on the project
  • Develop and validate early-stage prototypes of AI CPQ modules
  • Design algorithms for product configuration, offer generation and ESG/CO₂ calculation
  • Work with formal rule verification technologies (Z3 SMT solver or similar)
  • Design an agentic AI architecture
  • Research and experiment with AI/ML for quote recommendation and rule translation (natural language to DSL)
  • Collaborate with university partners and internal experts in AI and business process modelling

Required qualifications

  • Strong software engineering background (.NET, Python preferred)
  • Experience in AI/ML, especially NLP or generative AI models
  • Interest or experience in SMT solving, agentic AI systems or constraint programming
  • Curiosity, attention to detail and a research-oriented mindset

Bonus points for

  • Experience with complex enterprise systems such as CPQ, CRM or ERP
  • Contributions to open-source AI or logic tooling
